Is a 351 Cobra Jet engine anything special?

Edit: I'm not familiar with these, but a hot second Teh Googles search thinks it's fake.
The majority of 351 Cleveland 4-barrel engines were labelled "Cobra Jet" so it's not really that much of a stretch.
Heck, the 460 in my wife's Continental left the factory with D0VE (Cobra Jet) heads so there's that.
No scoops because it's not a GT or a Cyclone.
It's a mid-level optioned Mercury Montego with a stick that is full of lot rot from not being driven. Value it accordingly.

It's easy enough to run your own if you're serious. I've done it several times.
I've personally had great service out of them and wouldn't be surprised if they would validate the one shown very quickly for a small fee. Regardless, the standard report is cheap enough and they offer same day service as an option.
