Funny enough when we were in Carlisle this past weekend there was a guy there with an absolutely fabulous Manta. Dark blue with black stripes.
I believe these to be among the most handsome small coupes of all time.

Did that with one when I was in high school! It had the Edelbrock Performer package with cam/ intake and a Holley 390 in front of a T-5.
I'm glad this one sold before I saw it.

That's pretty much what I wanted to do to it. I have a short block from an 86 Grand National. It blew a head gasket and the customer wanted the engine replaced. I left it on my engine stand for a couple of months and someone else, "liberated " the heads, so I took it home. Been looking for a good home for it ever since.
