Man. It's clean but those things are SOOOOO ugly. Million dollar question here: whatever happened to the car designers who made everything UP UNTIL the early 70's redesigns!?! Car style fell off a cliff!!

In 72-73 they all went "berkeley this 5mph bumper E36 M3 we'll show those government shiny happy people how bad it will make cars look"

for proof look up the front of a 1971 Caprice and then look up a 1975.   Same basic car, sooooo much ugly stick application

This checks a lot of boxes: a Pontiac 455/4 barrel, dual exhausts, pre-catalyst, Rally II wheels, and power split front bench. Now, if we could only something about the white interior and top.

My father had a '72 just like that (minus the wheel skirts) in brown on brown with a tan top.

Let me tell you, they are not ugly in person.  They have a serious, formal presence that doesn't really come out in pictures.  I do like the '72's grille insert and light treatments better than the later cars.

That will be very comfortable, top up or top down.  And with the 455/4bbl/TH400, that thing will drive like a big American car should.  The disc brakes are pretty good, too.

I think it looks great, even in the pictures. And the white top and interior go great with the red body.

I had a '71 Catalina hardtop as a daily driver for many years.  I've always been a fan of that series of Pontiacs (from 1971 through 1976) although the earlier the better - more power, no catalyst, smaller bumpers, etc.  They are supreme highway cars, they just loaf along at most any speed you want.

Nice car, and a decent price! Needs a top, but these cars are tough to come by, and this one has all the good stuff. Drop-top road sofas are the best!
