No way it has a VW motor. I forget what it is but it's some kind of 4 cylinder industrial engine with full time 4wd, that is actually a really fair price for that machine.
Why do I want to ask;
Can I drive it back to Chicago?

I always figured they were just being smart asses. For those who haven't read the 24 Hours of Lemons rule book here is the excerpt from section 2.1
"Individual vehicle waivers may be granted; just don’t ask about Peterbilts, Zambonis, sidecars, or golf carts again. We already said no."
it's a long way from that to this.
