Asking $4k on fb marketplace but, GRM discount applies so let's talk.  Trades considered, of course!

Just finished an 8,000 mile trip to a bunch of national parks in this thing- if you want an older car that you can drive as you improve stuff, this is the one. 425 engine, TH400 auto, carbureted. Runs just as well at 9000ft as it does at sea level, recently tested!

Good stuff:
-Body and interior are in pretty good shape
-Top is in excellent shape
-All chrome and filler panels present
-I would drive this thing just about anywhere, it has been extremely reliable for me

Added just before the trip:
-LED headlights
-Fresh distributor cap/rotor/wires/plugs
-New wheel bearings and axle bearings/seals
-Front balljoints and drag link
-100amp alternator

Not so good stuff:
-Crack in windshield from a small rock somewhere in Idaho
-Needs new tires (if you're going to drive it a long way to get home we can work something out to get fresh tires on it)
-A little rust in the floors
-Could use exhaust manifold gaskets

Will come with some spare brake and ignition parts as well as a spare fuel pump. I also have sealed beam headlight bulbs for it if you're not into the LEDs, although the LEDs are a lot better for actually driving at night.

I mean you would definitely get extra value out of it if you mention the dog platform :)

It's not falling apart yet, but you'd need to weld some metal in if you wanted to have it painted. Can take detailed pictures there if you're interested.

Bump, price is getting increasingly negotiable as I approach the "should I just drive this all winter" decision point.  cheeky

Somewhere dredged up from the mushy archive of my brain is a picture of a 70s Cadillac on an SCCA rally stage, although I can't seem to locate the origin at the moment...POR, maybe?  Wouldn't be fast (and the 6.3L displacement cap might prove to be problematic), but certainly would be epic.  :D

I have to admit the allure of "what the berkeley is a Simca Aronde" is strong but I think I'll pass, for now at least.

Great car.  looks to be in great shape.

My brother-in-law had those fake GM wire wheel hub caps on his '84 Delta 88.  Took it to a cash only backyard mechanic and months later discovered he lost the anti theft cap key.  Guy denied it and he talked about getting screwed for years.

This one has the key!  I think each hubcap weighs more than a Miata wheel.

Trades, you say? What's your thoughts on a '91 Mercedes 350SDL with the best (read: most desirable) block/head combo for an OM603 and Euro bumpers, headlights, and even a cloth rear seat? It does have rust (fender sides in trunk--weird), but for an Ohio car, it's CLEAN.

Just have to say I really want this car for this price.  Next year when I have two new drivers hogging my car, it would work for me, just not now.

This has a 121.5" wheelbase.  An NHRA Funny car chassis has a 125" wheelbase.  Just sayin'.

That little difference would completely disappear when you radius the Cadillac wheelwells so it clears the slicks dropping it onto the funny car chassis.
