1977 Plymouth Volare. All original and stock. 15,500 miles. Still has the original factory tires, exhaust, etc. 4-speed standard, Mopar Slant 6, 3.7L 225 cu. in. engine. Uses unleaded gasoline. Has rare options such as bucket seats, factory installed sunroof, chrome package, mag wheels, and rear window defoster. Comes with original owner's manual and original operator's manual. Interior is in mint condition. Exterior is in great to excellent shape with a few paint chips/scratches/dings. Could be an awesome muscle car, or just keep as is. $8,500.

Wow that's cool. Never been a huge fan of those but I really like that one. It sure is optioned strange.

I agree, never a fan but I like it. That looks like the kind of car that a dealer would order with all the goodies and put on the showroom floor to show buyers what's available for their own car.
After watching Duel last night, I realized Dennis Weaver's Valient had basically the same speedo as this.
If it looks that good in the flesh, it's a steal.
That has got to be a one-of-one, or at least the last one...

How does a slant six sound with 3 DCOEs? Also how do they sound when their are built for upper rpm? Because even if you're not building for 'ultimate power' it would really fun to hear that car sound like some sexy euro sports car, then seeing some late 70s 'muscle' car with a mullet.
Leave it alone. There are enough crappy ones out there that can be torn up and made up into something outrageous. I'm a fan of outrageous but there is something about this car that says leave it be.
If anyone wants a Volare, my mother in law is selling one. 4 doors, IIRC maybe 70k on it and less than half the price of the linked one.
