That is certainly a thing. Ballpark estimates on what it still needs, how much hp and torque it has (and what did factory have), roughly how much are you asking for it, etc.

No, that's the engine from the Yamaha touring bike built to compete with the Honda Gold Wing. It might be based upon the Vmax unit but it is tuned for much less power. It should be a bit faster than the original Alfa engine just because it's lighter but a full boat Vmax build would be ... interesting.
That airbox sticking out of the hood is hilarious. I'm not even sure you could build a cover for that to make it look better.
