Hey folks, unfortunately life is changing and I have to get rid of my project/fun truck. Full listing is on facebook at the link: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/321244805868450

The short version:

1978 FJ40 Land Cruiser

 - Gen 1 SBC swapped professionally greater than 10 years ago, mated to the stock Toyo drivetrain

 - Some LC rust. I'd put it in "fair" condition, body wise, but could relatively easily be brought to "Good"

 - Bunch of parts included - I'm trying to 1-and-done getting out of the Land Cruiser. Moving in November and I don't want to have any of it left by then.

GRM Price is $9500, for everything. I'll deliver in the local area for some help with the trailer rental (local area is defined by how many beers I've had when we talk).

Feel free to ask questions. Thanks for looking.

Best way to get me thought the day is duffieldew@gmail.com

I'm not a SUV guy, but that will sell like hotcakes around here. The hipster crowd loves vintage Toyota metal!

In reply to Dave M (Forum Supporter) :

Thanks, I hope so. Rather see it go to someone here than most other places.

I shared it with a co-worker who's in the market.

That's a nice LC. Reasonably priced for what it is but outside my budget, which is why I'll probably never own a LC, LOL.

Yeah, its probably outside mine anymore. I'm still somewhat flexible on price, and when I had it shipped from Seattle to VA during my last move, it was like $900....

On the flip side, in 5-10 years I think it'll be rare to see running, driving examples for under $20k
