More commonly called a Mazda Cosmos.
I more want to know where this guy got a retired Uhaul trailer and what the modifications are about. I have always heard that Uhaul scraps but does not sell their retired trailers.
I've seen used uHaul auto transports for sale at branches near me in the past.

I dunno if they changed their policy or not, but they do list trailers for sale on their used vehicle sales website. Perhaps some regions will sell them and some won't.

Only one available within an hour of me. It's a 1994 (26 years old) and it is still $2k. Seems steep.
Maybe it is the box trailers they do not sell. On their site, I could not find the box trailers.

Yeah, I didn't see any box trailers either. Cheapest trailer I could find was $1200 and it was in Ontario so that's a no-go.
The Mazda is sold. That was almost as fast as the REPUs sell.

I tried selling my REPU about 8 years ago, and not even an offer. Glad I didn't sell it.

I honestly considered buying it outright just due to it's rarity. Like, I knew if I could get it running i'd be an easy sell kind of thing.

I bought 2 of their old car trailers last year. Straight from local store. They will not sell the ramps or straps with them. I gave $950 each, which I thought was fair. They are olny 13'6" long though, so just good for a small car or SUV. I welded on an extension at the front so I could pull the car a little further up. I just called and asked for a manager to see if they had any for sale. They were both 1994, and were being taken out of service due to age. Send me a PM or call me if you want to see if any are avaiable now if you want one.
