1979 Mustang 100k miles with 5.0/AOD. EFI swapped, built 8.8 swapped.

Man they've been sitting in a desert lot since 2017 I'm not even sure what they'd be worth these days. Def not $5000 lmao even though the Starion is a SHP

Do I spy a panhard bar on the rear of that thing? If so, someone spent some money on suspension bits.

It's got all sorts of goodies in the rear. I should pull the cover and see what diff is in it, but it does have aftermarket axles so I imagine something 31 spline.

I think someone was building it to be a drag car then gave up on it when they ran in to ECU issues. I put a new ECU in it and cleaned the injectors and it fired right up. 

Nice looking 4 eye. 
hated that body, just as much as I did the II's when they came out. 
Unlike the II's, the fox body grew on me!

I still have family and friends in Chesterfield, but I rarely get through there anymore.

I am nearly tempted to see if we can work out some sort of deal for my '96 Camaro SS with T56.  It is a very rare combo (slick top) with all SS mods.  I got it cheap and put some money into it, but you never know....  My first performance car was an '82 Mustang GT, so I've always been a Fox body kind of guy.
