So much blue! Description says it was a Washington state car most of its life before coming to NH. Could be a nice project for somebody looking to preserve some Honda history.

That's super rad. It'd be cool to get something like that and restore it to factory or even better-than-factory condition.
I drove an ’82 Accord sedan in same color combo through college. I paid $2000 for it. (And, yes, it had a stick.)
’82 and ’83 were nearly identical. As I remember, the weave of the seat upholstery was slightly changed for ’83.
I had an '82 Accord hatch though college which was followed by an '85 Accord sedan, both stick. Powertrain wise, the '82 and '83s were the ones of this body style to have IMO. The '84-'85 got an all new 12V engine (It actually has 16v) - two main intake valves per cylinder, a single tiny CVCC prechamber valve per cylinder and a single exhaust valve. The 5 speed was geared really tall and the engine felt weak compared to the '82. Despite the extra valves, it wasn't a particularly high revving motor. Hard to say how much of the sluggishness was due to the engine and how much was due to the gearing.
See what I mean about the gearing on the 85? Just a tick over 3K at just shy of 100, way too tall for a 1.8 that made something like 86 hp
I, too had one of these cars in college. In-period photo taken with my Kodak Disc camera:
This was in 1990 or so. I probably took the picture because the car had a fresh coat of Nu-Finish on it.

So I was looking up pics of second gen Accord engine bays and one of the pics looked eerily familiar, so I clicked on it and it brought me here! I bought this car and it lives in Maine now. I put it back together and got rid of the rodent smell. It runs great and has a new set of Enkeis on it 😁
