I'm in central Oregon! Whoops! I Need a small 4x4 for winter. Will trade if it's in good, running condition. Let me know what you have.
I have a 1985 Celica GT. With a great running 22re. It is a true survivor for a 31yr old car. Paint is in good condition, not perfect, it has its flaws, dents, dings, scratches. If you are looking for perfection then click the back button. If you are looking to own a historic piece of J-tin, or looking to make a fast rwd sports car, this is it. Read on.
The goods: I got it in stock condition, the car is in very good condition. Full rear interior in my attic (in good condition too) Louvers (another rare part) Supra spoiler. Optima battery relocated to trunk (the right way too!)
I've saved the best for last: I have the complete swap for putting the Lexus v8 (1uzfe) in this chassis. I even have a "how to" manual for you with detailed notes. I've labeled the wire harness and checked it three times for accuracy. Donor ls400 ran like a champ. I've done all the hard work of pulling it. 250hp/260tq in a car that weighs 2300lbs. It'll get down just fine with that motor. The swap components alone are about $1,200.00. The motor goes for around 500-1500.00$.
The bad: a few dents. E brake is not hooked up yet. The 22re starts every time, unless you don't give it time to heat up, then it starts every third time other than that, the car runs fantastic, drives hard, corners on rails, stops on a dime.
I would like a small 4x4 for the winters around here, but nothing that needs work. If you have something give me a call or text. I can get you any picture you want. As many as you want.
