1985 Corvette - NMNA- St. Pete - $750

I couldn't find the cheap C4 Corvette thread.

This is seriously in the "bad idea impulse buy" catagory. Looks fairly complete for $750.

But the body kit is rad and worth the price of admission 

Whats the deal with these for the challenge?

The C4s seem cheap enough, what is the "easy button"?

Do not use a stock dash board. Just buy gauges.  The manual transmission is weak. But better performance than the automatic. Look for one with the z51 option. That's the good handling one. 
By the time this was out I think the horsepower was up to 190 ( ? )SAE net

Not a lot of power yet. I think maybe around 190 SAE net and they are relatively heavy 3500 pounds?  
I had a 1984 and it got great mileage and seemed decent in the power. At 100,000 miles the tranny was shot, mainly worn syncro's   Dashboard doesn't last  and is really expensive to repair/ replace.

Already sold. Good didn’t want to explain to the finance manager that the 97 Formula I haven’t gotten any real offers on, could be combined with that for a profit!!! (I think her head would explode)
