1985 Dodge Omni GLH-Turbo

1985 Dodge Omni GLH-T. 

Selling my 1985 GLH for several reasons and a major one is the better half being quite sure it won't be what she wants in the end along with it being a lost love project. Plus with starting an LLC recently I won't have time to finish this how we want to. 

Pros: New tires, brakes, rebuilt trans, rebuilt motor, 95% rust free. 

Cons: needs two small spots of rust fixed, and the interior from parts car swapped over. 

The car is currently registered and has insurance, I drive it pretty often and have taken it on a few small trips myself. Mechanically car is quite sorted at this point. 

There is a complete parts car, and a pickup load of parts pretty easily for it. 

Will post more pictures when the weather clears up and can take it down to park.

Was looking for $3,500 for both cars and all the parts. Can for sure talk more to make challenge magic happen.

Absolutely. I'll take some tomorrow when I get off work and it's light out. 

Is it stock?   Any upgrades to trans/suspension/brakes?

I've always liked the L-Bodies, but the problem is that they got none of the later turbododge bits that made them better performers, and while junkyard upgrades are pretty easy, the parts cars are starting to get thin on the ground.

Trans has a Mopar performance limited slip

motor has forged Pistons and is basically all stock minus a few different Mopar performance processors. 

Suspension is all stock, might have some konis for it. Need to look. 

Brakes are new lines, fresh fluid, hawk HP+ pads. Rears are all serviced. 

Psteav NEEDS this and I'm going to do everything I can to help facilitate him becoming the new owner.

If anyone knows of a silver one with an ASC electric sunroof please share.  Would love to find my old one. It was a s-box that fell apart at 60K miles but it was fun.

Crap. I really want another GLH. I don't know when my next trip to MI is, but if this is still around, I'll try to strike up a deal and figure out a way to make my wife not hate me. 

I am firmly in the position of wanting this very badly, but my just doesn't seem to agree... She left for work with a strongly negative stance on adding more vehicles to the fleet and expressed all possible doubts falling just short of an explicit "no".

Currently, I am seriously weighing the consequences of my possible actions. Has anyone ever been divorced over an omni before? Chances are low, right?

If it was just one small car full of a few parts I would just snag it and hide it in the garage in the hope that she finds it cute enough to keep after the fact.

I mean, I don't think anyone has ever been divorced over an Omni, so chances are low. We can always strip the parts car and fill the glh up and make some magic happen.
