There's a green one around the corner from where I work, parked outside under a tarp. It seems to be in comparable condition, but I think of it as more of an $800 car.

That's a bit high. You can buy a nice one for about $6k.
One of these is in my top 3 for our next lemons car, along with a Citroen SM and a Rover SD1. That being said, this is a bit too far away and to expensive for what it is.
