Somebody needs to enlighten me as to just how much better the '88 was than the prior years.  Did GRM ever do a buyers guide for the Fiero?

In reply to stroker :

1988 is the only year the Fiero had the upgraded suspension design it was supposed to have had all along. It was scrubbed in earlier models for budget reasons. It cost them $30 million, and only appeared for 1 year.

Some say it resembles Lotus engineering of the time (and GM had an ownership stake in Lotus at the time).

Fix the brake lights for safety reasons but leave the melty bumper and get the custom license plate of "FIRE O".

Oh that is not too far from me at all. Very clean car for omaha. It looks like it was someone's pride and joy.

I have a full garage so I am out but if someone wants a set of eyes next week, I can once I get back to town. I don't think this will move quick.
