I'm hating the fact that I have my blue one right now. If I didn't have a garage full of cars that I can't find time for, I'd would so buy this. It looks like a great deal at that price.

I've been in contact with Bryan. He has some travel restrictions because he's an active service member. It sounded like it would take some major hoop jumping throughs for him to buy the car. At this point I'm done doing favors and taking deposits. First one to show up at my house with cash gets the car.

I hear ya. I'll be about 3 hours south of the car in two weeks, I can probably pull some sort of shens to get it out of your hair if need be, but it sounds like you want to move quicker than that. I know he wants it, its just the timing and storage.

Buyer 2 just calls and says he's coming on Saturday to get the car. I will keep everyone posted.
I hope he is not a flat-biller dufus, and that you forcefully impress upon him the rarity of the car.
That may be the only one left in the country. I've been into these cars for 18 years or so and I've never even seen a picture of a real non-sunroof GT.

I'd much prefer the car go to Ben. Here's my delima. I had my Focus lined up to buy the same day buyer 2 was supposed to bring me cash. I had to make a scramble and borrow money from my in laws and dip into savings to buy the focus when he texted to say he wasn't coming that day. In laws want their money back and my wiife wants our money back in savings as well.
If someone is willing to spot Ben the extra money (pm him for that number), I'd be more than happy to sell it to him.
I could store this car for a bit. I haz no monies though.
I am not sure if the money is the issue or space or something else.

It's a money issue for both of us. Scott and i have an agreement in place if Saturday guy backs out, but if anyone else on here has all the money in one shot, i'd be perfectly happy if Scott sold it to them.
I don't need the car, i'm just wanting to make sure that it doesn't fade back into obscurity again. And i do happen to be in need of a daily driver, and have several cars worth of spare parts for these things.
Not discounting this car at all...
But it turns out that there are a few of these around, just nobody bothered to speak up in the past when there was huge discussions about this.
Guess two of my buddies in TN have each had one, and the cars ended up in the scrap yard. They know of a 3rd red one in Nashville area.
I wish there was a way to get numbers for this sort of thing.
