1990 Miata - Dayton OH - Mine, 100% affiliated - $4K

It's been a fun car for a couple years, but I'm just not a convertible guy.  I think I've driven it more with the top up.  Time to clear a spot for the next toy:

1990 Miata with replacement long nose crank 1.6 at some point.  172K on the chassis.

Everything functions except the air conditioning and parking brake, and the outside driver door handle sticks.

Including two sets of wheels, 14" Daisy's with 6-7 year old tires, and 15" ARE wheels with new Vredestein Quadrac 5 tires I bought over the winter

Little to no rust, starts every time, no idea on battery age.  Also replaced the broken oil dipstick with a brand new one, that's gotta be worth something.

$4K on here.  No luck on my personal Facebook post, little action on the local AX group but nothing significant.  SWMBO had a coworker that came to see it today but declined because it was "too souped up".  Or is it "sooped"?

If I don't find someone here it's going on Markeplace for $5k and will likely sell but I'd rather not.  (Typing this on desktop, gimme a minute and I'll add photos from my phone).

Doesn't help that I have 7 herniated discs.  My NB with non adjustable VMaxx classics from Ole Keith Tanner (well, originally they came from FM) rode really good and handled 100% better but I lived and worked in the south then, now I'm nationwide

Forgot about those caps.  Printed in PETG for heat resistance, used them for at least a year and never lost any.

The tires are OHTSU FP0612(can't read my writing) A/S M+S rated 195/60-14.  Tread is pretty good, autocrossed on them last year and had some fun sliding a bit.  Talking to Region_Rat right now, he might be interested in letting you have them.  Will let you know.

Region_Rat is undecided, so who's next?? 

Hmmm, tempted, but I don't know if I want to own the same car twice.

I'm in Dayton (Springfield) for work this week and have two miatas at home already.....still tempted.

Jerry, what RAM mount are you using?  That might work with the cup holder I have left over from my scooter days, and I really need a better cupholder for my Miata.

That seems like a crazy good price.
