I just bought an m3, I am selling my MR2.
It is in great shape and drives awesome. The A/C is cold and everything works as it should. It has a nice double DIN DVD player and a sub.
It has Yokohama S Drive tires. The rears will need to be replaced.
It has nice paint and the interior is almost perfect.
It has headers, a cold air intake, a nice exhaust and staggered 18 inch 350z wheels. I recently installed an accusump system. I have a dyno chart from the previous owner. It made 202 at the wheels.
You could drive the car everyday if you wanted and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
I will sell it to a GRM'er for $7700.00.

Mannnnnnnn...
I'm already working on a V6 swap of my own. Do I need another?
She's a beaut, GLTWS!
I don't suppose you need a red FR-S?
If not, GLWS!

I was just telling myself if I ever bought another MR2 it would probably only be a swapped... Dammit.

Hrmmm, I'll be in Orlando in mid Jan, where's the MR2 located?
Very nicely done! So what did that V6 come out of?

Jacksonville, about 2.5 hours from Orlando.
Motor is out of a 2000ish Solara.

Not really, I bought it about six months ago with the swap already done.
I installed the three spoke Toyota wheel, the shift knob and the accusump.

Title status? Did it start out as a turbo? I'm not sure how engine swaps work in terms of state vehicle registration in Georgia, but this one has me curious. AND I'll be driving from Tampa to HHI on January 1st. If nobody sniped this MR2 by then, I might reach out and try to make an appointment to check it out. I'm also 6'-5" tall, so it might be it a very short test.....
I already regret missing out on the 350z rebuild...

Your last MR2 is very well loved by it's new owner. I may or may not have enabled on that one...

Clean title. It started as a non turbo. It is actually the 51st 2nd Gen MR2 made. It's VIN number ends in 0000051 and it's production date is January of 1990.
I don't think the engine swap would effect the registration. It doesn't here in Florida.
I am 6'4" and fit in it fine.

Are you gonna steal this from me, Danny? I'm racing Troy Truglio's Biohazard version New Year's Eve at Sebring Champ Car. It's a wonderful piece. Funny how small even 18" wheels look these days.
In reply to randyracer :
Oh shoot, hold the phone, it's more like stockers in the sutocross pic, haha! The black 18's do look big. PS I hate black wheels, being old school. Don't hide this primary styling factor.

No it has been repainted at some point.
I had the front bumper painted when I bought it due to some bug chips. Paint is nice, only issue is a spot on upper driver rear quarter panel where masking wasn't perfect by the quarter glass. Overall the paint is pretty darn good.
I want that quite a lot, but it's far too nice for me. Let me know if the paint starts flaking or it gets driven into a guardrail or something
I remember this car from last year; it has a mid-nineties Camry motor in it, though rebuilt if I remember correctly.
I think I also remember the previous owner putting a hybrid S54 / S51 transmission in this. How does the gearing match the 1MZ-FE? Any synchro issues (notchy / grinding)?
I'm potentially interested. Just sold my Gen-4 3SGTE swapped '93 MR2 earlier this year (in fact, you contacted me about it on GRM).

Tranny feels great, no grinds or graunches. Gearing is fairly low, second goes a little less than 60.
It's a small world I was pretty interested in yours but found this one locally.
It really is a nice car. It drives well, doesn't rattle and everything including heat and air works.
Sounds like the guy did swap at least 2nd-5th with Camry bits. The stock S54 is very short.
Maybe we can talk offline. I have some more questions.
