After 4 years of ownership I am selling the s10.  It has been a great truck.

It drives well, handles incredibly and can do light truck stuff.  It's not rusty at all.  You could drive it anywhere you want too.

It has a 2.8 liter V6 and a 5-speed manual transmission.

It has the dusterbd13 suspension setup.  It has drop spindles, tall ball joints, tubular control arms, ZQ8 springs, ZQ8 sway bars, ZQ8 fast steering box, belltec leaf springs, lowering blocks and bilstein shocks.

The truck has a square setup of 17x9.5 Corvette wheels with 200 treadwear Hankooks.

I am thinning the herd, 14 cars is too many and I don't use it like I should.  Its time for her to go to a new home.

Truck is in Jacksonville Florida.  Title is in my name.  How does $2,700.00 sound?

Nice!

If the new owner wants more power, a 3500 out of a Pontiac g6 will bolt in after swapping the accessories with the 2.8....  it's slightly more complicated than that, but just barely....  plus, those 3500 engines are like 300$

(I have one in my 87 rx7).

Glws! Great looking little truck!

Those are not sawblades. These are:

Would love to convert this to 5 speed. Too bad that S10 is too nice to separate.

I wish.

Always when I'm either broke or it's too far away.

This is exactly what I'm looking for.  For a beater. But tooooo far away.

This is the answer. Or ship it. The extra $1000 would be worth the no rust.

Have ridden in this truck. Can confirm it's cool!

Might be worth noting...

In this thread, you will find details to a Jacksonville based, independent shipper that I used in the past.

I will say I momentarily considered buy this S10 but it really doesn't fit in my current fleet.

I have driven this truck probably for more than 3 hours total. That was Jax to Gainesville both there and back and travel from track to hotel. Nice truck!

That's funny!

'Course no road salt in for snow in FL... But they don't have to import salt in S. FL, left coast or right coast or panhandle!!! They have it natural!!!

That being said, I'd trust buying from him no sweat. And I wish I could afford that.  Way cool

Aren't the Astros a large chevy bolt pattern? Adaptors, I assume? And the 4.3 v6 is a sbc bell housing... The 60 v6 is different.

A few early Astros did have 4 cyl. /Stick, but not many. And most early ones were scrapped while prices were up.

Does this have A/C?

It does have A/C.  It is cold after a charge but leaks out.  I never dug into it because my plan was always to swap an LT1 and T56 into it.

Man, sooooo tempting, as I sold my rust free S10 to my brother and am wishing I had it back as an ongoing project truck.  My wife would be so po’d.

I honestly have no idea.  The odometer is broken.  I would guess 18 to 20

My dads 92 4.3 AT  s15 got 22-23; I would have figured a 2.8 stick would be better!

But him and I both had good luck with early 90’s 4.3’s. My best out of my 99 Astro was 5mpg less than my 92! Astrofrown

Would you take one of my karts straight-up in trade? I'm selling them because I lost access to my tow car and trailer, so that would be a really convenient deal for me.

The cart is super cool but I don't have a need for it at the moment.

Thanks for the offer.

It's funny - I was going to contact pimpm3 about this car until I saw the 4Runner. Maybe I'll just go buy his fleet lol.

JK, no room available in the garage, but someone will get a cool car!
