Indy shop gave it a new lift pump and a clean bill of health

The ugly

That's nice.  Wish it had been available in the spring.

I have big love for the 6.5TD.

Your price is fair.... perhaps too fair.  Is that all they're going for these days?

2wd hurts, but does seem cheap.

I mean.... I'll take more I guess?! Hard to find comparables, I thought the diesel and 2wd and the ac being inop might hurt it some

If it were a manual I'd be flying to Texas.  It depends on who is looking for what.

Diesel truck in TX?  That seems to quadruple the price these days.  2wd doesn't hurt you down there as much as it would up here in Snowsville.  I've seen 7.3L Powerstrokes with rotted bodies and 300k miles get into bidding wars starting at $10k

If I could unload my Escalade I would be a player on a fly and drive for that. But operation no more Caddy isn't progressing very well!

Well, I think that I will keep the price where it is for the GRM family, but if I have to put it on Marketplace, or the List of Craig I'll ask more just to put up with the inevitable "is this still available" ghost messages

Unless the buyer NEEDS 4wd, (and 90% of the population doesn't... well 70% in the great white north) for more than "I gots me a 4 x 4" a 2wd could be a plus.
The stupid high prices on anything 7.3, (reputation) doesn't apply as strong on the 6.2/6.5. Good enough engines, but did not get the same huge cult following.
Would be a gantries pig for someone... wish it was me, but the better half wants something else for vacations!

Does it have posi? Check the RPO tag in the glovebox for G80. The ratio should be next to it  GT4 GU6 something like that.

Ugh, Texas is a long fly and drive from NH. I've had an unhealthy desire for a 6.5TD Suburban for a while. It even has the PMD relocated already. I thought all the diesels had the bumper with the two rectangular holes in it?

It's a texas car with no rust too!

For your late night viewing pleasure here are some RPO codes

I put a link to this on the GMT400 forum. If I weren't deep into rebuilding an '88 C3500 already, I'd be having a serious discussion with my wife about purchasing.

My dually 6.5TD with 4.10s and 4x4 pretty consistently got north of 20mpg empty, but I also drove it pretty calmly.

The bumpers did have the two holes on all the diesels I know of, but it was also pretty common to replace them with gasser bumpers if they got rusty or whacked.

I see G80, so its got a locking diff. With good tires snow shouldn't be a big issue.
