I've put my Boxster on sale on FB Marketplace about a week ago, and I'll go ahead and throw it up here as well in case anyone happens to be interested. The car is fixed and in good shape now, but for full transparency sake I'll link my thread detailing the issues I had with this car that kind of killed the love for me: link. I'm getting married this winter so the car has to go to help pay for the wedding. Here's the FB ad, I have it listed for $11,750 but that's just to leave myself a little wiggle room for negotiation with the FB crowd. The short story is that I bought this car for $5,800 in February, drove it for a little while, then took it to a local Porsche specialist to give it a once over. He performed a major service and water pump change, since the old one was an aftermarket unit and worn out. A few weeks later I found a belt squeak and took it back, where he found a bad idler pulley that had been poorly repaired, necessitating a Time-Cert in the block because the previous bolt had stripped out the block. That's the short version, but all this work took a long time and cost a lot of money, and during the process my enthusiasm for the car kind of waned, and I got engaged and my priorities changed. All in I have a little over $11,500 in it, but I don't expect to make that back. The car is in good shape now and should be healthy mechanically as far as I know.
