Well, I feel this day was inevitable. Life has just gone in a different direction, and I can't stand to see this project just sit and collect dust. This means I'm selling my 2001 Miata and everything that I've collected for it. There is a lot here, so I'll try and cover it all best I can. I can take whatever additional photos you want and answer questions to the best of my ability. I don't have an exact inventory of everything, so between now and the time of sale I need to go through 900 sqft of garage space to find it all... yay
In it's current state it's a rolling shell, though I purchased the car in good working order (still has a clean titile) and kept all the interior bits stored inside of a garage. I have sold some bits and pieces that I wasn't planning on using (motor, trans, seats, rear end), but there is still a lot there. There is a bit of damage I received from someone awesome in a parking lot. It's located on the passenger side between the door and the wheel wel and a ding near the rear tail light (pictured below). I talked to a friend of mine who does bodywork and he says it's easy enough to fix if I ever got it running. Most of the body is fine with minor dings and scratches. No rot anywhere. We do have a 2 post lift so you can get a real good look all the way around. The top had a glass rear window w/ defroster, but its shot. White the picture shows 2 donuts on the rear, I do have all 4 original miata wheels with half way decent tires.

One of the first things I did was pull the interior out so it wouldn't get destroyed. I've kept most of it in either the garage or an enclosed trailer. The dash is near perfect, I've taken care of that the best. I sold the original seats when I got the Corbeaus. Those will not be included, but I still have a corbeau seat bracket for the driver side that will be there. I also have all the carpets, plastic bits, etc (shown in pictures). Something may have been sacrificed to the garage gods, but it was all there when I stored it. I did install a Hard Dog roll bar. Other than that, there is nothing really exciting about the interior.

The two major modifications I was planning on doing was a Ford 302 swap w/ t5 and swapping out the rear end with a jag XJ-6 assembly. For the motor, I grabbed a running motor and transmission from a friend. It doesn't currently have accessories attached, but I have a set that I believe came with it. I also collected some bits and bobs for the motor as I was hoping to switch from EFI to carb. I'll be including the motor, the trans, all the accessories, a set of shorty headers, an Edelbrock Performer 289, and Holley carb. I started making a custom from subframe that was modeled after the Flyin Miata V8 roadster subframe. I got most of it done, but no engine mounts. I will, however, be including a OEM miata front subframe in case you don't want to use my work of art. As a side note, the wiring harness is there, but is in the middle of being modified. I have no idea where I left off, so I'd assume it's a lost cause. If someone is brave, you can probably salvage it so I'll make sure it's included, but it would probably be easier to go painless.

I don't have pictures of the rear subframe, but I started making the custom rear subframe to house the XJ-6 rear assembly. I got it mounted, but haven't gotten to mounting the suspension. That being said again, I will also be including a complete OEM miata rear subframe with basic suspension and hubs (no brakes) so you can do a much more standard rear end swap if you'd like.

I think that's about it. There are a few parts here and there that I will update as I rediscover them. I will be including a set of RX7 4-pot calipers I was planning on using. Should make for good stop...

I'm asking $1500 for the lot. The car has a clean title and I'm located in Gainesville, FL. I just don't have the time to work on this anymore and I'd love to see someone do something with it. Like I said before, I can put it up on the lift for you to take a look at. You'd need to bring a trailer (I would not recommend a dolly). Any questions, let me know. I'll try to keep this post up to date and clean it up as I go.
