'02 BMW E39 M5, 92k miles, $12,800, Virginia

Just came up on FB marketplace. These tend to be high maintenance mistresses, but at the current rates they have been fetching this looks like a potential deal. No association, just a big fan of this era M car. Very little information (or punctuation) in the ad, hopefully the owner is better at maintenance than grammar.

from ad:

Selling my 2002 bmw e39 m5 runs absolutely great nothing wrong with it always well maintained garage kept only reason selling is brother going to army $12800 cash o.b.o accepting cash offers he needs it gone before he heads out 92k miles original miles

Yeah, in the current market that's definitely scam-level pricing.

Be careful there.

At 92k with no problems, that should be in the $20ks
