I'm looking to sell the 2002 Civic Si I bought from my coworker a few months ago. He had a light deer collision with it (no frame damage) and just wanted it gone, I got it cheap and sunk a ton of money into it planning to use it as a fun daily driver. Well...then I got a new job with a tedious commute, and now I've decided I just want to sell it and trade in my Fit on a CPO Volvo or something. This would be a great autocrosser for someone with just a little more work as it already has the right suspension and rubber, or a fun daily driver for someone that doesn't sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic every day.
Has Rays Gram Lights 57S 17" wheels with Kumho summer tires, Koni Sport yellow adjustable shocks, Neuspeed springs, roll center adjusters, spherical shift cable bushings, the whole nine yards. Car is an absolute blast to drive and handles like it's on rails. Has 212k miles but has always been well-maintained and had tons of work done recently; new control arms, new clutch and hydraulics, new wheel bearings, new rear brakes, new tires, much much more. Starts right up and drives great, have receipts for almost everything including lots of dealer service. Sale includes many spare parts including stock wheels with Blizzak winter tires, factory service manual, projector headlights, random spare hoses, hardware, etc
Cons are that it has rock chips and dings you would expect from a 15 year old car, AC doesn't work (system holds vacuum, suspect bad compressor) and it could use a good alignment with the autocross suspension as the toe is a bit funky (will include new K-Tuned double-adjustable tie rods with sale). Trans could also use a re-seal at some point, I've found some gear oil seepage on the bottom of the bellhousing when working underneath.
I'd like to get $3500 out of it but throw me an offer, I'd like to get it out of my garage. In St Francis, WI (Milwaukee southeast suburb).
