I wonder what the point of the build was. A turbo 5.3 LS is probably gonna put down upwards of 600 ponies and it's mated to an automatic transmission. Lotsa suspension stuff so I'm thinking it's not a drag car. A track car for someone that can't drive a manual? I guess there's people out there...
Seemed lika a waste of a s2000. I have seen a Corvette with a k24 turbo that put down 500hp. Maybe it was a front end wreck and they got ls swap fever...
My first thought was drag and drive but maybe not.
Maybe they got a wrecked s2000 and were going to go the "drift life yo" route. Or maybe time attack? It is kinda a confusing build.
I'm all for LS swaps, but a turbo LS sounds like a lot for an S2000.
But who knows, maybe it's fun to drive in a "this will kill you if you aren't careful" kind of way.
There's a turbo LS swapped one running around Jacksonville; I've seen it at Cars and Coffee a few times. It has a T56 though and was very well put together. I'd buy this and put a manual back in it.
