Seriously, he wants this gone. If you're anywhere near the South Jersey/ Cherry Hill/ Philly area, take a look and make an offer.

Watching a video on YouTube showing how the timing chain is done with an engine out of a vehicle seems pretty straight forward, but in the truck I wonder if you can even drop the pan?

Do you also have it listed on CL or something? Seems it should be sold in minutes.
Next time I'm in the area is 3rd week of July and if be willing to come up from my previous offer a bit.
But I think the truck is worth much more to someone else than to me. For me it would be a challenge car donor and partout.
Not on CL, only listed here. I don’t think he’s ever done anything other than trade a car in before.

I changed the oil pump on an LS3 in a 2012 Camaro, didn't have to drop the pan. Didn't see any problem changing the timing chain with the pan in place.
I've been watching this one from the shadows. I recently was looking at flights to Philly and if I can check tools and a spare timing chain.
What's the story on the transmission? Has it been replaced/rebuilt or is that a 330k mile 4L60e?

330k 4L60e LOL
My buddies back in the 80's would buy a Suburban or Blazer for $1000 and spend more money on a lift kit.
$1299 - 6" lift - Rough Country
