Please let a GRMer buy my Prius. I do not want to attend the carnival of morons on FB Marketplace.
2005 Toyota Prius. 145,5XX miles. All cells show good health and hybrid system functions normally. Regularly returns 47-50mpg. All power accessories and climate control function normally. Smartkey (click-free entry and one-touch start) with two working keys, JBL sound, cruise, all-weather mats in front, Boss head unit with Apple Car Play/Android Auto/Bluetooth and backup camera (properly connected to JBL amp). Good Continental rubber. Cargo cover. Even has a recent oil change and wiper blades. In overall very good condition for a 19 year old Prius because I'm not a dirtbag.
THE BAD: Roof was wrapped in black by what I'd call an "enthusiastic amateur." I'm guessing the clearcoat started to fade on top as there are wont to do, so a previous owner threw some vinyl on it. Honestly it's not too bad. Good 10 footer. or even a good five footer. But when you look close you can see there's a few ripples and gaps at the edges. Still probably looks way better than the fading clear, though. Rear door handles are a bit faded and have cracked finish on the tops of them. Steering wheel volume controls not connected to head unit. One rear mat has some stains. Front bumper has a couple holes from a former front license plate install.
The thing has been a rock for me for a few years. One of my favorite, most useful and economical dailies ever. I would hop in it tomorrow and drive it to Seattle with zero hesitation.
GRM price is $4k. You know this car is good because I'm willing to sell it to someone I know. Located in Ormond Beach, FL.

I'll take it!
Not to hog up all the Prius but I'll sell off my rusty DDer and this one will become my new DDer.
I can send money anyway you like. I'll probably just have the car shipped to my doorstep.
Took ya' long enough. 34 minutes. Jeez.

Well that was fast. I'll message you shortly and we'll figure it out.
Dare I say going to the right person!?! lol
Maybe we'll keep the Prius musical chairs going...
Out of guilt of having snapped up JG's Prius, I will offer this GRM'er Only:
$2,000
2008 light/silver/green Prius with 219k miles. Runs so great that I really have no need nor had any intention of selling it. I bought the car with 110k miles and have had it ever since. It does have a Rebuilt Title; I bought it that way. I would and do drive this car everywhere.
Has one spot of rocker rust but by Northern Ohio standards this is clean. It does have a muffler leak but I've just been waiting for better weather to pull the entire cat-back off my California parts car. That cat-back included with the sale but not installed at $2k.
I just walked out front and snapped these pics:

Damn if only the timing was a few months away instead...
Thinking...
This comes with full PO support for up to a year correct?
In reply to akylekoz :

Hmmm... I need to send my daughter back to college with a car come fall. If I had a job right now, this would be an easy decision. I need to chat with the wife...
When my daughter starts driving in 2 years this is exactly what I want (unless I can convince her to get a manual 90s mini truck....). Save me the google, and tell me which prii have esc before 2009?
All my Prius customers get "after the sale support" as evident by this thread.
It turned out to just be a drained battery but I was still sending her pictures like this so her neighbor could jump start the car off the under hood jumper point.

I also just bought a 258k Prius off a previous repair customer. He bought a Toyota BZxabc, that all electric car. The Prius has sat so long it wouldn't start and he just wanted it gone.
I jump started it and drive it onto a tow dolly.
However, it was a Michigan title (not familiar with) and names were put in the wrong places. So, I'm waiting for a replacement via mail. While I wait I'm doing a few minor refreshes.
I also have a 201k white Prius waiting on a white fender
Pending on Green Prius at musical chairs continues.
Did we just create a Prius selling thread?

Two Priuses in 19 hours in one thread with a third pending has to be soe sort of record. This thread is delivering.
And John, your title and a key are heading North this morning :) Glad it's going to a good home.
It may get even crazier...
I haven't done shipping quote yet but here's what might happen...
The truck that drops off silver will simultaneously pick up green and deliver that 300 miles away.
In for more cheap Pruis, my daughter turns 16 this summer and I have two boys going off to college in the fall.
John, let me know if green becomes available again, I have a neice that needs a car in the northern suburbs of Chicago.

This is prime enabling.
Unfortunately, I don't have a Prius to move along...anyone want a station wagon?
What do you do with a missing catalytic converter ?
if there an official replacement that is not from Toyota ?
Just wondering if its worth buying a Prius with a missing catalytic converter.
Does the ECU read an original catalytic converter vs an aftermarket catalytic ?
we need to get a smog check on transfer in California and then every 2 years.
Thanks for your thoughts

I have a Toyota OEM one I can sell you. I've sold a few from the Priuii that I've parted out over the years. They have all been shipped to California. Shoot me a PM if you want to discuss.
