A friend down in California has a 2007 Civic Si coupe that has become surplus to requirements, so I thought I'd post here in case anyone has any interest. If so, please PM me and I'll put you in touch. He hasn't listed it for sale anywhere yet but sent me these pics today.
Carfax says it's had a minor collision repair (bumper skin?) at some point. Otherwise he says it is very clean.
Location is 96093. Whatever part of California you're thinking of, it's probably not that part. It's pretty remote.
PM me if interested.

Just checked on maps–oh yeah, you aren't kidding, that's remote.
A bump for the morning folks.
I would be buying my plane ticket if this was a 4 door. Just curious, would he deliver to Sacramento airport?

Thanks for the interest, but apparently he's not comfortable with a fly-and-drive arrangement. Too much potential for misunderstanding. He's looking for a local-ish buyer, someone close enough to come take a look in person before committing.

It is. And mountainous. The roads are magnificent. But my friend is much more a pickup guy than a sporty car guy, and the Civic just isn't his jam.
One last bump, on the impossibly slim gods that anybody nearby has any interest.
A month ago i would have been seriously interested, and modified some work travel to pass through. Bought a new daily already though. It looks like a great car, exactly what i was looking for.
The no fly and drive is probanly keeping people away, and a couple interior/engine/underside photos would probably help.

You're not wrong. Unfortunately, that sounds like more effort than he's willing to put in. He may end up sitting on this for a while.
It's extremely frustrating. This guy is a friend, but he's one of those friends who is hard to help.
