2007 Porsche 997.1 GT3 Style Cup (NON-FACTORY RACE CAR - please note the correction from the previous post). The car was built in Belgium by Theibaut Racing as evidenced by the stamp on the roll cage picture. 2007 winner of the 24 hours of Zolder. Currently equipped 3.6L GT3 (Metzger) motor with unknown hours, please see the stamp on the motor in the picture. The car has the race sequential gearbox and the gear lever is on the floor (as opposed to paddle shift). The box has 60 hours on it so there is time left on it prior to refresh. Comes with the BRAND NEW Pirelli stickered slicks that are on it and one set of original BBS wheels that currently have rain tires on them.
From 2007 until about 2011 the car was in Europe then imported to the United States somehow connected with Goldcrest Motorsports. Tom Krueger purchased the car and campaigned the car with NASA and had it serviced/maintained by BRS. In 2016 the car was sold to Bob Wisen who did not raced the car. The 3.8 that was in the car when purchased was removed and the current 3.6L GT3 motor installed. It IS a Metzger GT3 motor (see picture with stamped identification), just unknown hours. The chassis is straight and true and there are some trick non-factory parts on the car that make it more adjustable for driving.
NOTE: Mileage is a plug because these cars are typically measured in hours (engine/gearbox).
