I bought this R Spec July of 2021 at the top of the market. The previous owner was a car enthusiast, had all the documentation and was frankly, a bit anal. I paid $15,500 and it had 79,000 miles. I had Hyer Quality Detail in Tempe do the 3M PPF to the front, mirrors, and a special package on the rear. Since it was really clean, I had every intention to keep it that way. I then had it ceramic coated with Ceramic Pro brand by them. They did a great job, but it cost $2700! In 23 months I've only driven it 5,000 miles, so it sits with just 84k now. I changed the oil once and just put a new battery in it. I work mostly from home and usually jump in the miata or truck if I'm going somewhere with the mountain bike. It's been to Vegas for Sema twice, glorious on the highway!
Think someone would pay $14k for it?
KBB says $10-13k. For $10-12k, I'd probably just keep it. I can't replace it with something I like more for that little.
lots of images on my phone.
Always thought the V8 Genesis would be a fun car to open up the exhaust on just as an unexpected source of V8 noises when you are in traffic.
As far as the price you're looking for, I'm not saying that I'm representative of most buyers, but I'd be willing to pay a little more having physical proof that it's been well-maintained.
If you are up for it, I'd recommend seeing what CarMax and/or Carvanna (assuming it's still in business) would want for it. I've been led to believe that they are more than willing to overpay for some reason.
In reply to Colin Wood :
This guy has a youtube channel where he beat a 2012 R Spec for years, last video said he had 190k miles. Here is his exhaust cut out video:

I lowered it to $13.9k on FB and now I get the obligatory tire kickers.
One guy thinks I'm a jerk because I asked him if he had the cash ready to go when he wants me to drive an hour out him so he can see it in person to see if it checks out. For a deal, I'll do it. For a test drive, no way.

Nope nope nope. Don't drive to sell the car. They come to you.
It's probably good I didn't see this in March. I don't think I'd be getting 36mpg daily....

The Audi I recently sold (via FB), the buyer drove to me, twice. Once to test drive, without cash in hand, then again to consummate the sale a few days later. 2hours one way.
He never asked me to meet him, but I was confused that was serious enough to take on a 4hr round trip for the car, but not serious enough to bring cash the first time.
