Details
Clean rust-free Florida car with high quality modifications ready for someone to enjoy as a daily driver or for track/autocross events. Never used by me on the track or at autocross events, though. That was the plan and why the car is modded the way it is. But between work, the pandemic, and my wife being 5 months pregnant with our second child, I didn’t make track days enough of a priority, and the car is basically used as a weekend toy. Our current job provides us with vehicles, so the 86 is more or less our 4th vehicle at this point.
Purchased the car from DeVoe Cadillac/GMC in Naples, Florida in March of 2019 right before we moved from Florida to Georgia. The salesman told me the original owner traded the car in to their sister Subaru store down the street. As best as I can tell that was true, because the original owner left a lot of his personal items in the glove box, including a recent doctor visit summary.
Happy to take the car to any local shop for a pre-purchase inspection, or to meet up for a potential buyer to check out the car in person. It is registered and insured.
The windshield has a small (about 1” or so) repaired crack at the base in the middle which is barely visible. My insurance is $0 deductible for glass, so I can have it replaced if the buyer wants, but I have chosen not to do so because I didn’t want to deal with someone doing a poor job on the replacement.
The car is in overall good to great condition. Wheels and tires are nearly brand new. All mods except the brake calipers have less than 1k miles on them. Interior has virtually no wear. The front bumper looks like it has been through highway miles, and there are some scratches in the clear coat as well as a few small, barely perceptible dents. However, everything is pretty minor, and so small it’s hard to capture in photos. I am fairly obsessed with cleanliness of the car, so they would probably have to be pointed out to notice.
Willing to ship the car and meet up with a transporter if the buyer handles all the legwork in getting it done.
Comes with original owner's manual/books, extra key, valet key, and window sticker.
