What's with the weird fender to hood gaps?

I wondered the same thing and was assuming the hood was popped just not open? If not, there's probably an issue!

edit: looking at the other pictures it definitely looks like something is off. I almost want to message out of curiosity. 

It may be the light, but the lines on the front bumper don't quite look as sharp as they should be (IMHO) and some of the paint has a distinct rattle canned look to it, too (look at the front wheelarch).

I see what you say about the hood gaps.  I also notice that the front bumper cover is not right.

First there is what looks like a home job of adding black to look more like the current huge Audi grill.  

Second, the vents under the headlights and the additional, low center vent are unique.  I suspect an aftermarket bumper cover (cheaper) was added after some front end damage.
