Found this 1975 AMC Gremlin in Galveston, TX (about an hour outside of Houston) for $300 during my morning browsing.

Ad says it doesn't run and has neither keys nor a title. It's just an engine swap away from a bucket of fun (and maybe a little rust) and a fun challenge car.

Friend of mine had one back in the day. probably '82-'83, neither door opened from the inside. then the passenger door wouldn't open at all. Had to Dukes of Hazzard it. Was a fun little car, although not much of a "Chick Magnet".

I learned to drive in my dad's 75 gremlin that was his work car.  This was in '86, his doors at one point would not stay closed. The door post rusted through. We had to weld it back together, but I did enjoy driving it.
