Looks to be pretty rust free but I imagine the Hell Hole is a real hole. Lotsa miles. I'd see this as a good start to high powa swap: LS, SBC, K24, etc. I wonder why people can't take the time to run the leaf blower through the interior before postin' up pitchers. Any way, I'm local to this if you wanna set 'o eyes on it.

The 1973 914 2.0 is the one to have, if you need to have a 914. 
 

The Mahle Gas Burner wheels are a nice bonus.

But the '74 had a 5 speed, makes a difference at highway speeds.

Maybe it was optional, but my '72 and others had 4 speeds.  My current 1974 has 5.

Every 914 I've come across was a 5 speed, unless you're referring to the tail shift vs side shift, which i thought the 73 had been updated to the side shift
