It's probably one of the only, if not the only, running driving 145s in the rust belt. I just have automotive ADD.
The wagon looks great in photos but the clear is flaking on the roof. A few small bubbles around the bottom edge of the windows lead me to believe it was parked under a tree for a period of time in the past. Otherwise the metal is totally solid. Rockers and buttcheeks show zero rust.
Runs and drives very well. Could use a suspension refresh and includes all the parts to do so - shocks, springs, sways, bushings, tie rods. The works. I have a second baby on the way so I lack time and motivation to do it.
I like that you took pics in front of an IKEA!! Well played sir.
I should take a photo of the wardrobe that it carried home that day. Enormous.
Did you see my reply to your question regarding my Delica?

Wow. Love it. Wish I had more room and the price was lower. Not a M41 O/D trans?

Neat car. I am local and have been looking for something to haul bicycles around, but this is probably too vintage for my purposes. I'll just keep telling myself that...

If we were not separated by 800 miles, I would be very interested. I've been looking for a Volvo wagon.
In reply to Ian F:
I don't think the wagons came with the M41 from the factory, though it's a popular upgrade. Rear diff from a sedan is also a popular way to drop freeway RPMs.
This wagon is perfect for daily driving, which is what I do when it's dry out. Amazing how modern these old Volvos feel in comparison to their domestic competition.
I'm open to trades of interesting vehicles.
This is one of my holy grail cars. I'm glad you are a long long way from me.
I have this half baked idea to do an epic road trip in an older car one day. This would fit the bill perfectly. Unfortunately SWMBO always asks which vehicle I'll be selling every time I see something else I want. GLWS.

Exactly the situation that prompts this sale!

I'm in the same boat, although self-imposed... I'm quite simply totally out of room, so buying this would mean at least one car would have to go. Interested in a Spitfire? The irony there would be I bought the car from Michigan...
Amusingly, I have a M41 literally ready to swap in, alongwith some B20-specific A/C brackets (would be the 2nd modification I'd do after the M41).
Any interest in a 122s Wagon?
The car is in Greensboro, NC. Its a 1966 that I'd only offer up for the 145.
I want this thing so bad.
In reply to spitfirebill:
Not easy to find either. 144 is nice too. Sadly from what I have seen, most Volvo fans prefer the 240 series. Easier to maintain.
PM sent sporkfan.
It's still available. Who knew Detroiters mostly prefer American iron? I did get a call last night from a girl. Her first question: "how do you think it would do in the snow?"
SWMBO put the kibosh on the trade idea last night. She really likes the 122.
