"Will crank and run"? That means it isn't currently. Between that, the interior out, auto trans and drivetrain apart, this is a $500 crap shoot

Nah. The 931ay look very similar but it is more different to a 924 than a 951 is to a 944

If anybody here picks up this car and wants to manual swap it, I've got a dog-leg 5-speed, torque tube, clutch and flywheel assembly out of a '79 924 that can go cheap to the GRM community...
