2WD 'burbans are hard to find & damn near a unicorn in Minnesota.

Is there something preferable about 2WD instead of 4?

These monsters tow a trailer like crazy.

Once used one to tow a 30' from Washing DC to Elkhart Lake and back over the mountains.  Sweet ride.

In reply to P3PPY :

I know the 1500 2wds are way nicer to drive on the street compared to their 4wd counterparts. Better steering and front suspension. Not sure on the 2500s. Personally not having 4wd I'd never use is a plus.

2wd not only ride better, tow better, and less expensive to maintain, but usually have a higher tow rating. Unless ya need the 4wd; then all that becomes minor!

That's probably what kept it out of the snow.

On the 2500 Burb, unlike the 1500, the suspension is the same for 2wd and 4wd, front control arms with torsion bars and rear leaf springs. Really just lose the 4wd stuff, which makes working on it easier. Ride difference between the two is minor.
