c4 prices are in the toilet, especially considering the c5 is heavily depreciating and is so much more car. I’ve quit looking for project c4’s that’ll need engine and trans work to just looking at cosmetically banged up c5’s that are ready to rock
Granted I look around Detroit mainly, but shells and "ran when parked" here are usually in the 2k range
The corvette curve is going to hit c4’s soon, you should probably buy one now if you want a dirt cheap nice example. There will be cheap project status cars for a long time though.
C4 prices are crap, tell me about it. I had a mint C4, 50K miles, Z07 suspension and I replaced all the bushings, hubs, springs and sway bars. The best offer I had was $6000, so that’s what it went for...
