We have my Grandpa's 91 base model Capri so they have a soft spot for me. Always wanted the XR2 but unfortunately I'm project a plenty and time/space/money poor.

I do think those are cool. But not cool enough to want one.
Would be a neat donor for a Festiva.
I don't think I've ever seen one of these that is running. What is the deal with that?

It's a weirdo quasi-captive import by a mainstream make that I think all parties involved gave up supporting a very long time ago. Also everything I've read about them makes me think they're not that great to drive, stock.
Might be a fun project but not nearly high enough on my list to do myself. Probably better for someone that enjoys making their own parts.
I saw this listing too. (I periodically search for these things because I am hopelessly obsessed with them, but already have 5 cars and no space for another.) If someone here buys it, I volunteer to be your Challenge teammate.
