99 Subaru 2.5RS

I bought it at 96k miles. The previous owner bought it at 94k miles and poured a lot of money into it fixing issues. It has a rebuilt engine with 11k miles on it, quality stock replacement aftermarket parts for the suspension (ball joints, shocks and springs etc) and brakes. Apexi exhaust. Sparco wheels with snow tires and WRX wheels with summer tires. Some Subaru rust but not nearly as bad yet as many I have seen.

I have driven it 10k miles since I bought it in the spring with no issues. Ready for rallycross/autocross or just daily driving. I am selling off some cars to buy a house.

Price drop to $3500 with just the WRX wheels and summer tires, see pictures below.

Is the passenger door sprung, or is that just an unfortunate reflection on the trailing edge of the front fender?

Engine was rebuilt 11k miles ago so they are good.

Bump. I'll sell for $5000 for a GRMer.

If the insurance company totals my car I may have to jump on this for a reliable new daily.

Looks solid for a unicorn in the Midwest.

More detailed pictures, I can take more if anyone is interested. I am waiting on the previous owner to see if he can find the invoices for the engine work and other maintenance that was done.

The summer wheels and tires it comes with. Around 2000 miles on the DZ102 tires.

I placed 5th in Stock All at the rallycross nationals with it this year, it could trophy with a better driver.

Just shared this with one of my buddies who is a Subaru nut.

Nobody has come to look at this so it is temporarily off the market while I fix the rust and front fender.

Well it's been awhile and I still haven't fixed the rust aside from painting it with some rust converter. I did replace the passenger front fender with a new aftermarket piece but have not painted it yet.

$3500 if anyone is interested in it before I (maybe) get around to patching the rust.

Only if it had two moar doors...

Indeed! If I had $3500, I would be ALL OVER IT. It's a sweet driving car and it has local RallyCross provenance.

The Subaru has been sold.
