Toyman was looking for a work truck for his business. Not sure if he'd want something used, though.
You are getting great value and service out of 'dem trucks. What's the replacements?
Why are all the beds beat up the same way? Lol
How's the undercarriage and suspension rust?
They had lifts gates and were often loaded by careless forklift drivers. Replaced with the same trucks just new. Have some stake bed and box trucks also that are equally USED if anyone is interested. As for rust, they are NW Ohio trucks and will all have it.
I'll message ya. Might just have what I need, at a price good enough to deal with rust.
I might regret that, but dependability would trump body condition, at the moment!
The white and red truck might just fit me!
How about a ford, with the v10, ilo diesel. I'd be all over that 6.0, but my wife's allergies react VERY badly to diesel. I have to park Big Red where she doesn't have to walk past every day!
Box truck, van, or pickup. (Each have future project plans. )
I believe there is a v10 f250 but I've never looked at it and I was told the engine is blown. Who knows what that means.... PM me.
I'm surprised this thread isn't getting more attention. I've been thinking about it every single day, esp that 2013 at the top, going for 2003 Z4 money..
Beat up trucks are beat up trucks. I'm surprised a lawn care or tree trimming guy hasn't bought all five.
You said there are others in worse shape? What kind of stuff, just out of curiosity
A few more f250, one pickup and two utility bed trucks; I've never looked at them honestly. The others are box trucks.
I used the F250 to run errands Friday and again today and it's a pretty "nice" truck; nice is in quotation fingers because it's still a beater. Interesting tidbit is that the trans was rebuilt/replaced 50,000 miles ago. No one seems to have records but one of the guys is who took it in.

Thanks for the thought.
Those are a little more used than I was looking and the rust is a deal breaker for me.
I just bought a 2013 F150 with 75k on it.
Just picked up an Expedition, with a known history, so glad about that!
If I get any summer contracts, I might be interested in a work truck, but gotta recover from this!
I'll bump this and stress the OBO; I'd like these to disappear.
Chandler, any of them have four doors?
You see I'm still trying to talk myself into getting one of these :)
Do they run and drive ok? Functional ac etc?
All of the trucks run and drive; the f150 runs very rough but I'm not inclined to deal with it. I can check on A/C tomorrow but that usually works.
Sold the f150 and Silverado to a dealer who stopped by today. He's back and forth on the other two ext cab trucks.
Isurance finally got around to canceling me, due to the problems I've had since the AzzHat hit me on I 85. Not surprised.
So despite getting the 07 Expedition for my wife and I to share, I'll not be able to drive it for 3 years!
I put the outrageous insurance on the 03 Merc, but the Expo is double of that! My 03 F350 FX4 is a couple bucks cheaper than the car! But will not be reliable to tow with by the fall contracts.
So, I'm back to needing a beater truck. What is your oldest (hoping for cheapest insurance)?
Chandler
What do you have left in the WORK Truck category?
Just saw this thread.
Need something to run up the ALCAN to The Dawson then to Dead Horse.
One of these just might be the ticket.
Thanks
Tom
I like the regular cab short bed
