I have a surplus of AA Rayovacs. They come from a hospital and are only used once during surgeries. Because batteries can not be sterilized the batteries come to me (not that they need to be sterilized--hospitals just can't take a chance).
I have a lot of these AA Rayovacs that I need to move. They all test at 1.5 to 1.6 volts.
I'm asking for 10 cents per battery. I can send 80 batteries via flat rate priority mail for $15.00. If you need more just add ten cents per additional battery--the shipping will not change unless you want more than I can fit in the flat rate box. If that happens, I'll get you quote. For comparison's sake--new Rayovacs are 30 cents online.
I also have Kirkland, CVS, and other off brand AAs. Additionally, I have some odd ball sizes like C, D, and even a few AAAA. Same price applies to those--10 cents.
It's Christmas, toys need batteries.
If you are interested feel free to message me on the board or my email is johnmpruner@gmail.com
I will take a box of AAs. PM me with payment details.
Be careful, I think USPS won't allow batteries to ship.
"Common household dry-cell batteries such as sizes AA, AAA, C, D, etc. are generally not regulated as hazardous materials and are therefore mailable. Packaging requirements in DMM 601.1-7 apply."

You can ship any battery as long as it is secured from shortage.
How many batteries fit in a flat rate box? Is it 30?
Shipping will be the killer, as it's now $13 for 30. Home Depot has 24 packs of Rayovacs for $4.88. Unfortunately with the weight, I can't think of a cheaper shipping option.
80 batteries can fit in a flat rate box. If you want to fill the box to the brim like that I can give a discount--$15.00 for 80 shipped.

In theory I'd like to support you but I just bought 72 AA's at Costco for $19. That's $0.26 apiece, vs. $0.33 each in your first post. And now I don't need any for a while :-/
How many D's fit in a $6 flat rate box? That one might have potential for me.
In reply to RedGT:
Nah...I'm less than 33 cents--that's the going rate for new Rayovacs. I'm much less. Sorry if that wasn't made clear.
I don't think I have enough D's to fill a flat rate box--I could fill it with what I have and add AAs if that'd work.

I get the "can't be reused". We sell an instrument that measures coating and plating thickness, the base has a pack that holds 4 AA's, rechargeable. When they get sent in for yearly certification, we replace with brand new, and basically toss the old into a box. It's now a very big box. I have all I will ever need, and any friends as well. (I never thought about trying to sell. No worries, not stealing your thunder )

No worries. It's funny how AA batteries multiply like rabbits. Yours are rechargeable? Are they Sanyo Eneloops?

In reply to redvalkyrie:
We've tried 2-3 brands over the years, I forget which ones since I work with the standards to calibrate the instrument, vs building the things. But I just found about 20 Eneloops in the kitchen drawer, which I believe is what we're using now. They buy like 144 at a time from someplace.
Bump. Still got some to go.
