1959 Ford wagon 4 X 4 for way too much money.
Pricey, yes, but beautiful. Could not be replicated for the $. This and an airstream= retirement Paradise.
Helluva classy lookin' body but the wheel/ tire combo makes it look redneck, it's a clash in my mind. Needs somethin' a little more subtle IMO.

Exactly correct, IMO. I think if it had some period steelie truck rims and some more 'agricultural' period 4x4 tires, and it would make people wonder if it was factory or a period option (e.g. NAPCO or similar)...

Looking at the wheel choice, I'd guess Ranger. Dog dishes and steelies, and I like. Rather a lot, somewhat embarrasingly.
In reply to wheelsmithy:
Interesting, I just presumed it was a full-size chassis of some sorts given the size of the car.
Agreed on the rolling stock, if they lowered it a bit with steelies and made it look like a NAPCO type conversion, it would be bad ass.
Not my first choice of wheels/tires, but I give the guy props for not cutting up the rear fenders. Looks like a pretty good job overall.
Looks pretty tasteful and well done by "hold my beer, I'm gonna put this here car body on this here 4x4 frame" standards.
One of the better 4x4 conversions I've seen. Frame tucked in to look like it came that way. Agree about the wheels though. Steelies w/small hubcaps would look best. 2nd would be white wagon spokes or some other old school wheel.
Most likely Bronco or short F150 chassis with all the Ford running gear.
