I am pretty paperless, but there are times that you need to print something.  I love my HP printer/scanner with iPrint, but the cartridges are getting outrageous.  Especially because I am printing coloring pages for my 6 year old!  The EcoTank idea seems cool, I am OK with the loss in quality for photo printing, any first-hand experience?

Think you posted in the wrong subforum.

I looked into these for my office.  Apparently they're okay for light home use, but if you print a lot the print heads get gunked/clogged up and can't be cleaned or replaced.   If you don't use them all that much, though (I print ~2000 pages a month at minimum) you are probably fine, and the ink really is cheaper.
