Yeah, for some reason I do too laugh my first thought was how to give it more power..... My guess is understeer is the predominant handling trait!

It can go to the Challenge, but can't be in the Challenge.

Why not, it is a VW Beetle, right? Just missing a front wheel!

Any four-wheeled, production-based vehicle that was originally sold as a passenger vehicle is allowed.

Which raises a question. A motorcycle frame converted to 4 wheel vehicle...

I feel bad for both of those formerly useful vehicles .

I'd be afraid of snapping the neck after the first wheelie.

Years and years ago I saw this done to a ghia. It was at night and up until I passed the guy I was totally confused as to what was going on. The proportions are actually pretty close in person.

Doesn't say it needs to have four wheels at the event anywhere. Just started as a four wheel production car, it's a beetle so it counts in my book.

SCCA rules would not allow you to run the autocross, not sure how the NHRA feels.

The way this is written, the vehicle has to be four-wheeled to be allowed.  As opposed to this:

Any production-based vehicle (that was originally sold as a four-wheeled passenger vehicle) is allowed.

Or side-by-sides.

The one I drive daily has no problem hitting 60 mph fresh out of the box. A friend owns 1 with 1000 hp. surprise
