I have only ever seen Bitter in the US, in Columbus OH actually. Many years ago I test drive a 99 SAAB 9-3 from a little dealer that always had some cool stuff. The owner had a white one in the back area of the shop.

I remember when they were new. Worked at a dealership in Syracuse that sold them. Interesting cars but not as impressive as they look.

And there's nothing wrong with that. Always thought these were super cool vehicles.
I think that listing is way above market given the condition. That asking price is in line with what Hagerty lists for a #3 car, which does not include "non-functional", peeling paint and a shagged interior. Looks like the same seller had it listed on ebay for $2k less a year ago, which also says the "just came out of storage" statement is a lie. Or else the winner of that auction is trying to flip it and reusing the pics.
A friend of mine bought a misrepresented SC from BaT - the auction house worked with him when they discovered it was mostly made of Bondo. Don't ever buy a car that's been "restored" by someone named Dean Rodenbach in Durango.
This led to him picking up two more and getting involved in the global owner's club. He described them as being numbingly average to drive. One of those cars got turned into the only racing Bitter ever for a Lemons race, I think he still has it. There was a plan to put a Barra in it, but it won't fit. One of the cars got shipped to Europe, and I think the third one (the BaT one) ended up as a parts car.
They're a handsome car to my eyes, but I also like the way a Biturbo looks.
