Gumby.
I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but I saw a video on Facebook of someone driving one of these home last night or the other night that had the oil light on. Apparently lost oil while driving..
In reply to Indy "Nub" Guy :
"has a trailer" is different from "has a trailer this can fit on and something with the balls to pull it"

Lol, this. I have a 26' enclosed, I suspect that even if this thing could fit in it, I would be over the max tow limit for my truck, haha
I found a website with the following for 1969 Eldorado
4,729 lb curb weight
221" long (18.5 ft)
79.9" wide (6.65 ft)
As a comparison...
2019 Chevy Traverse (the big, 3 row, fwd 3.6L SUV)
4,362lb curb weight (367lb less than Eldo)
204" long (17" shorter than Eldo by nearly 1.5 ft)
78.6" wide (1.3" narrower than Eldo)

That 72 New Yorker in St. Paul? 225 inches long..... so it's 4 inches longer than the cadillac. The 70s were a wild time.

Yes it has the same basic layout with the primary drive by chain to the transaxle.
