It's served me well for several years (I bought it new), but my photographic needs have changed and it's time for it to go to a new owner.
Great little advanced compact, with the important controls (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation) all available via dials or knobs, not menus. Lens is a 28-140mm equivalent with image stabilization. Shoots RAW or JPEG. Swiveling and folding screen, optical viewfinder, and several video modes with stereo sound recording. Small enough to carry easily in a jacket pocket, large enough to feel like a real camera in your hand.

Mine is in excellent condition with fewer than 6,000 shutter actuations. Aside from a few small marks on the left side of the body (see photo), the cosmetics are very good. The glass is perfect (I'm guessing there are probably a few bits of dust inside, but I can't see them). All functions of the camera work perfectly.
In addition to the camera itself, included are the original Canon battery and charger, and a second (aftermarket) battery. Also included is a Canon FA-DC58B filter adapter – this mounts to the body via the bayonet mount and extends and retracts with the lens body – and a circular polarizer and UV filter (see last photo). These extras would cost about $80 if purchased today.
KEH is getting $248 for a G12 in EX condition with one battery and charger. I'm asking $225 for the whole package shipped CONUS via USPS Priority Mail; additional shipping for other destinations.
