NMNA - - Roller for $500.  Just add a cage, lightness and a big block.  Winnah!

Andrew Nelson was looking for a place to stuff a 454 Chebby.......I like this as a Challenge car with a difference. Too bad it starts as a 2 ton car. I wonder how light you could make it?

Somebody started some bodywork on those taillights... I wonder what else has been done?

Edge of the truck lid should be square. It looks like they altered it to fit the tail light modification.

I know this is meant in jest, but my XJS is down to a svelte twenty-two stone.    And why reinvent the wheel with a big-block Chevrolet when the car already contains the internal combustion equivalent of sliced bread?

I've never heard of this Andrew Nelson character, but I doubt he can do anything with a V8 that the sainted Mr. Claude Bally hasn't already done with the V12.

Well...the car in the ad has no engine and Andrew is looking for a cheap car to put a $100 big block in so he can enter the Challenge. Aside from the weight, I think this car would make a cool Challenge car, although I'll bet it's not Andrew's cup of tea. He'll certainly find something lighter. Should I assume your XJS weighs 220 stone, not 22? If so, that's pretty good for a car that came in at 2 tons stock.

Edit: It's Claude Baily, not Bally
